Expedition to Georgia

This expedition was not meant to be only for kayaking hard whitewater but to enjoy the country as a adventure. Also the blog will be written this way. Anyone can go to such a expedition. In Georgia you can fing clas 6 and clas 1/2 rivers. Our group mainly did rivers between class 2 and 4. The Amount of rivers is greater than in the Alps. Maybee the only problem you will encounter is roads. 4 WD is necessary to get to the rivers.  One day we drived 7 hours and covered 40 km (to give you an idea =) ).

In 16 days we did over 10 different rivers and 2 first descents. Also we ate some great food, got poisoned by water and has some nice shiting time, drank some amfora wine, had some local vodka, got annoyed by the pot holes in the roads, stayed at really friendly guest houses, observed amazing nature and mountains, saw some whitewater which might be paddled by the next generation kayakers BUT MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL WE HAD FUN!!!

Under you will find some images of our trip and a short video.
