Go kayaking with no car!

This movie is not about what was paddled but how we got there.

Since the past few months I have been living in Switzerland with no car. The Swiss authorities only allow your car (with EU registration) to stay for 1 year in Switzerland. Then you have to go through all the birocracy (+ a ton of money) to change your driving licence and registration to a Swiss one. Since I am a bit lazy I decided to leave my car back home in Slovenia.

The only problem is how to go kayaking. Having friends helps alot. This is how I ended up spending 3 days in Oetz valley in Austria. Thankyou Jonin Zumsteg, Fredy Riner and others for that trip.

Then there was one weekend when no one had time or was in Nepal or injured. So I decided to go by train and walk 7.6 km to the start of a class III river: Glenner. After Glenner I continued paddling on Vorderrhein (class II but very scenic run).  It was fun =). Here is the video:

Stay safe, Jan Praprotnik
